The Bigbelly Seahorse is the latest in our unique and colourful releases in the 2007 Ocean Series. This oddly shaped but colourful creature inhabits shallow water sea grasses and sponge gardens in Australia’s south eastern oceans. The Bigbelly Seahorse, as its name implies, has a large pot belly and is unique among species as the male becomes pregnant.
